That's pretty funny Sat!
I guess I should pay more attention to Black Metal band member names. After seeing the pic of Satyricon...I'm glad that I dropped the "Frost" off of my name on here. Twisted Evil

Actually...I guess they all take a better picture than I do...so it doesn't matter much.

I'm not much on the whole corpsepaint thing. I find it funny, but not necessary. My fave pic is the Dimmu one.

Frost is a damn good drummer though. There is another pic in the Nemesis Divina booklet (the cd that pic came from" that is really horrible of him. Ill see if I can find it somewhere on the net.

Talk about a dredge from the past.
I guess that eating crow would be a good idea now...
Been listening to quite a bit of Satyricon of late. Definitely good while I'm carving the curves through the mountains on my bike!!

Wow, 4 years ago. I should have been asleep at that time.

Which albums are you listening to. I have really fallen out of the scene. Listening to more industrial stuff the past couple of years.

Pandora seems to think I really like stuff with disco influence and heavy amounts of "groove."

No specific albums. Mainly just random tracks. But, I'm now to the point where I can differentiate between their music & others and I'm finding that I skip quite a few other songs on the MP3 player and have yet to skip one of theirs.

Industrial eh? That's kind of funny. I did the industrial thing back in the 90's and still wrap my head around some tracks once in a while. I don't know anything new though....any recommendations?

I started a station on Pandora using Funker Vogt. It has played some decent stuff. I can get track names, but Assemblage 23, Cesium 137, Neuroticfish, and VNV Nation are the last few bands played.

It's a little more danceable than what I would normally call Industrial, but all those damn labels bore me. Soth can probably recommend good stuff too.

If you haven't used Pandora before you should check it out. I only started using it recently because I can use it on my phone in my car now. I have no need for cds.

Really late on the reply here, but if you were to have asked me then, you'd be getting told to just listen to Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music over and over.

Even though it's from the 70's.

In fact, you should still do that.

Oddly enough, I've been listening to a bunch of 70's acid rock & phased rock....they both go nicely while out riding...
