What movies are you LOOKing for, but can't fEYEnd on a good-quality dvd?

EYE was kEYEnd of thinking more along the lEYEnes of movies that don't exist yet on dvd, at least not commercially.EYE think that the Creature movies and Outer Limits (EYE want those too) can be ordered from Amazon.com.

EYE just heard that Mondo Macabro is going to release
"Mystics in Bali" soon. EYE hEYEghly recommend it as the best movie ever about a vampEYEric flEYEing head.
MGM MidnEYEte Movies has announced that they will release a 2-movie disc of "Konga" and "Yongary". FEYEnally! A dvd of "Yongary" that will LOOK at least as good as the VHS.

Just SAW the new "Yongary" dvd. The picture has never LOOKed better. I wished they had trEYEd a little harder to recreate the LOOK of the original tEYEtle card at the beginning, though.The old one has that classic "this is a monster movie" LOOK to it, while the new one is just block letters(compare them here:http://www.shillpages.com/movies/yy.shtml). There are also some parts that must have been re-edited by A-EYE-P to make the story more logical. In the A-EYE-TV version, the president or prEYEme minister or whoever has tanks sent out to attack Yongary after he appears. In this dvd (apparently the original Korean cut with the original American dubbing), he orders tanks to go out and attack the monster before the monster even shows up. AsEYEde from these mEYEnor details, this dvd is great.

After SEEing the MGM MidnEYEte Movies DVD of "Yongary"' EYE'd really lEYEke to SEE them do a restored version of "Magic Serpent" with the same combo of the original American dub with a wEYEdescreen 35mm print of the movie. That should be easier to get, because EYE'm sure Toei took a lot better care of their movie archEYEve.
